I bought the safety glasses since they are clear and have UV protection. If you have damaged eyesight or even 20/20 vision you need these to protect what eyesight you have. My eyesight is not the best anymore so these are an investment. The glasses came scratch free and fit my face pretty good (female). I haven't taken them hunting for specimens yet but I hope to soon!
