Introducing the AURORA 2.0 from www.yooperlites.com the original AURORA was the world's 1st fan cooled 4 headed Longwave 365nm Filtered UV flashlight. Well now we have upgraded this light to the new Aurora 2.0. The new Aurora 2.0 has 5 screened in fan vents instead of 2 for even more cooling power which means more powerful leds and more uv than ever before. There are a few other great changes as well. The power button is still dual functioning for low to high power and is now illuminated with a green led to see your light when it is powered off in the dark. The led barely consumes any power at all so it won't drain your battery fast. As soon as the Aurora 2.0 is powered on the green led on the power button shuts off. So no annoying green led while you hunt!
Another set of great features in the Aurora 2.0 is the new battery caddy and rear tailgate. With the new tailgate it makes changing out batteries a breeze. On the original it was hard to screw the light together after a battery change. The new battery caddy holds 3 batteries at a time. It can accept both 18650 or 21700 batteries. The Aurora 2.0 comes with 4 - 3000mah protected button top 18650 batteries. Optional 21700 batteries will have longer run times and can be found online.
The Aurora 2.0 puts out an impressive amount more uv than version 1. In the included pictures you can see the Yooperlite that is literally up from 15 feet away with the Aurora 2.0 is much brighter than the Aurora original.
A pistal grip is now included with the 2.0 and makes for a better grip and carrying of the light at a proper angle for hunting Yooperlites.
