When I placed my order I paid for 2 day expedited shipping. I live 100 miles away. Took 10 days. My family was long gone by the time left and that was something they wanted to explore.
Emailed the company. Never a response.
So disappointed.

If i could rate service separately from the product this would look better. Flashlight is great. But i wont be recommending this site or its products. When i pay 42.17 for 2 day shipping, and get the product later than that, i kind of expect a response to my email. Particularly when i was very understanding in my email about the fact that you are not personally delivering it. I spent almost 50% more just to ship it quickly because i was going on a rockhounding trip. One or two days late i would have still been able to bring it. Again, simply responding to my email would have been nice. Maybe even if you had contacted USPS, or done something other than ignore me. Right now just trying to decide if i return it and take my money else where. Your customer service is garbage.

We've got 3 now, 1 of the older version and 2 of the newer. Our application is UV photography and inspection, perhaps a niche most readers of this review will not venture into.
The newer is a marked improvemend. If I would have only one thing to whish for is to broaden the beam even more and create a "top hat" profile, adjust the optics so that the power in the middle is even more similar to the power at the edges, but I know that is a tricky thing to do. Currently buying two more, so you could say I can recommend them.

The new UV MAX+ now packs 6 UV LEDs vs 4 UV LEDs in the original UV MAX, which means 30% brighter. With multiple brightness modes, you can dial it right in!
The UV MAX+ has USB-C and USB-A ports for charging or using it as a power source. Unlike the Convoy C8, it offers High, Medium, and Low options, plus Ramp up/down with a long press.
