About this experience

A Superior expedition along the Upper Peninsula's shores of Lake Superior await you! Erik Rintamaki is offering a very limited number of guided tours during the month of September.

In addition to the tour you'll get your very own Yooperlite UV light and accessories, UV glasses, 3 small Yooperlites along with a signed article from the Mineral News (a $75 value!) to keep. Not only is there a very good chance you'll find a Yooperlite of your own, you'll also have memories to last a lifetime.

Location description

The 2 hour guided tour runs from 9:30 pm - 11:30 pm during September in order to take advantage of the darkness to find Yooperlites.

We will meet in the parking lot across the street from the Agate Museum at 8pm. We may walk to the public beach, or drive within 20 miles depending on conditions. Disclaimer: You must be physically capable & able to walk on uneven terrain. There is NO cell phone service along this section of Lake Superior.

WHAT TO BRING:
Backpack or bag
A white LED flashlight
Proper footwear (hiking or muck boots)
A light rain jacket
Proper gear for the time of year
BUG SPRAY
Snack & Drink
